Dollar Store DIY: Floral Centerpiece

Hello, lovelies!

I took a trip to the Dollar Tree today and picked up a few things to make a DIY floral centerpiece for my room. I have been wanting to make something like this for a while and they had all of the materials today!

Mason Jar

White Decorative Pebbles

Grey Sheer Ribbon

3 bouquets of desired flowers (mine were the patriotic bouquets for July 4th)

1. Unscrew lid of the mason jar. Remove circle piece of the lid and screw lid back on so the jar is open on top.

2. Pour entire bag of pebbles into the jar. Cut a piece of ribbon and tie it in a bow around the jar.

3. Cut each flower with the stem at the desired length from the bouquet. Slide leaves off of the stem (if desired).

4. Place flower into the jar and bury into the pebbles.

5. Continue steps 3 and 4 until you’ve placed all flowers in the jar and styled them as desired.

Viola! You now have a gorgeous centerpiece that you can use for a party, wedding, or just to place on your dining room table or shelf! The total cost for this project was $6 and I have plenty of ribbon left. You could make a lot more of these with one package of ribbon. You can also use any color stones or flowers that you want to match any theme or wedding colors.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post! If you try this DIY, be sure to let me know how it came out in the comments and I would love to see some photos! You can email them to me: If you email them to me, I’ll update this post and share them so others can see different versions.

Thank you so much for reading!

x- Chelsea Raymond
