February Favorites 2018

Hello, Donnas!

Doesn’t February always fly by for all of you? I swear I celebrate the beginning of the month, excited about the month of love, Brian’s birthday and our anniversary, and then I blink and it’s all over! Although this month felt like I was living in fast forward mode, I did get a chance to find a few new things that I have been loving and wanted to share them with you!

Oatmeal for breakfast!

I shared this on my Instagram story and you may have seen it if you are following me over there. Each and every morning I make two instant oatmeal packets using 2/3 cup almond milk and 2/3 cup water. Once I microwave it, I mix in 2 tbsp of almond butter and a handful of rinsed berries. Most days I use blueberries but I have also used strawberries and even a ripe banana if that’s all I have on hand. It is very delicious but is also extremely filling. I love eating this because it’s good for you and also satisfying! I definitely recommend it to everyone!

Hummus and Celery Sticks

I have always been one to eat my hummus with pretzel crisps but I really wanted to find a healthier solution. Celery was on sale at my grocery store and I decided to give it a shot. I was surprised how much I actually enjoyed it! It’s such an easy snack and it’s so filling since celery has such a high water content.

Gourmet Nut Power Up Snacks

I found these trail mixes at TJ Maxx in the checkout aisle.. which is where all of the best purchases come from. I saw that their trail mixes advertise that they are vegan so I bought one for a snack. When I got home and tried it, I immediately regretted not buying more! These trail mixes are AMAZING and they have such great ingredients like mango, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, dried cherries and dark chocolate! I was psyched to see them at every TJ Maxx I have been to since and just hope that I continue to be able to find them there! I would definitely check out your local TJ Maxx for these. Each bag is only $4.79.

Solene Imoshion Crossbody Bag

This bag is so trendy and a super affordable and vegan-friendly dupe of the classic Chloé bag. I love that this bag matches everything and it is the perfect size for everything I carry each day. It has a sturdy structure and is great quality!

Black Booties

My black booties have been my favorite fashion staple since the fall. I love how they look with every outfit so much that I haven’t been able to put them away yet and I am dreading summer because I know I won’t wear them often. It’s hilarious because I got these for free with Kohl’s cash and I have worn the hell out of them. I love these so much more than some of the things I have splurged on! If you don’t have a pair of black booties, you NEED a pair! These are a forever piece for your wardrobe so don’t worry about them going out of style before next fall!

Unfortunately, my booties finally sold out, but I have linked similar pairs below. You can click each photo to shop each pair.

My CK Statement Belt

This belt takes every outfit to the next level. I have been drooling over everyone’s Gucci belts but buying one is definitely not in my budget. That being said, I was ecstatic when I found a Calvin Klein dupe at TJ Maxx for only $17 and it’s REVERSIBLE! You can change it from a black belt to a white belt. The white option will be great during the spring and summer seasons!

The belt I have isn’t available online, but you can click the images below to shop similar belts!

Other Products:

Lilly Pulitzer 17 oz. S’well Bottle

My bottle was a Christmas gift that I picked out for myself but since the day that I received it, I have been using it every single day. One of my New Years Resolutions was not to drink any soda. Surprisingly, I have been able to stick to it and my Lilly S’well has made it much easier to stick to! I carry it around wherever I go and it’s glorious to be able to have access to really cold water 24/7. The S’well bottles keep liquids cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 hours. I have only ever used mine for water and usually drink all of the water before it even has a chance to get warm.

My S’well was a limited edition release but you can click the images below to shop some of my favorite S’well bottles:

Deva Vegan Multivitamins

I have been taking these vitamins every day for most of the month since starting to eat a vegan diet again and I absolutely love them! You can score a 2 pack of 90 tablets for only $21.64 + free prime shipping here. They give me a lot more energy throughout the day and I can rest assured that I’m getting a lot of vitamins in my diet.

I know that I am way late on the popsocket train but to be completely honest when they blew up, I thought that they were just a money scam. I thought it was nuts to pay over $15 for something to stick on the back of your phone case. I honestly don’t even spend that much on some of my cases. I ended up getting a popsocket from someone for free so I tried it out and it has honestly changed the way I use my phone. Have you ever dropped your phone on your face when you are laying down? I know that I have and I have also fumbled with a way to comfortably hold it when I am laying down or trying to watch a video. The popsocket is my go-to way to hold my phone and not only is it comfortable, its convenient and I haven’t dropped my phone since I started using it. I definitely think it is worthy of the money now and I wanted to share a few cute ones that I found online! The only downside is that the bond that the popsocket makes to your phone is super strong and you can’t change it from phone case to phone case if you’re the type of person that likes to change cases often. I am currently getting bored of the phone case that I have now but don’t want to change it because I don’t want to lose my popsocket… I know, first world problems. Click each of the photos below to shop each popsocket. All of these are $17.

I hope you enjoyed reading about all of the products that I have been loving lately. If you decide to try any of them out, or already have, let me know in the comments! I would love to chat about it!

In a world where you can be anything, be kind.

Until next time,
